Having Fun

We enjoyed an afternoon at the park yesterday. It was a little chily (55 degrees) but fun since Scott was with us. The girls really enjoy chasing after him. Kara's favorite part is the swing. Once she starts she never wants to stop. "More, more, more..." "Whee....." Rebekah's favorite part is playing with other kids. We even brought hamburgers, chips, charcoal, etc. and had a cook-out at one of the pavilions.

Recently we have put Kara back into her chair for meal times. She is very interested in drinking out of a real cup which is a problem unless she is confined in some manner. She actually does really well drinking out of a cup, I'm pretty impressed.

Kara recently got over a cold and pink eye. Her eyes were pretty bad. So bad, in fact, that her eyes were bleeding from the drainage irritating the skin around them. She is definitely better now and back to her old spunky self.

Scott was gone last Friday so Rebekah and I had a "slumber party" on our bed. We played Candy Land on the bed then told stories for quite some time. She loved it. I think she felt like a big girl sleeping in our bed.

Today Kara said "my cup" when we were having a tea party upstairs with Rebekah. She is really into babies right now. She almost always has one in her arms and a bottle to feed it with. Everything is "baby" "baby" "baby." She likes to wrap them in blankets and rock them while making a sucking sound as they drink their milk.
