A couple of days ago Scott and I were distracted and did not notice that Kara had taken the blender out of one of my shelves. Unfortunately, when she dropped it the glass shattered but the good news is that she only cut her finger. It obviously could have been much worse. Other than that Kara is now saying "more" and "done" and she loves to eat pickles. She is becoming quite the little climber, she must take after her dad. When he comes in the door her little face lights up like a lightbulb, it's quite adorable. Rebekah loves gymnastics class and spends a lot of her time now doing her "moves" that she has learned. We put up a Christmas tree, lights, stockings, etc. It was quite an adventure with a 1 1/2 year-old. All the decorations on the tree are out of her reach which means there is nothing on the lower half of the tree. It looks kind of funny but I guess it is the thought that counts.

As I recall Rebekah likes pickles too!!! Must be genetic. Scary blender close call but all sounds well....love from nana g.
