We had a birthday celebration last night with pizza, watermelon, and cake at Rebekah's request. After that, they ate cake. Well, ok, they made a big mess of the cake but it is the thought that counts. Rebekah thought it was funny to lick the icing and Kara, well, she just made a mess. Rebekah did blow out her candle and Kara had a little help from Dad. After dinner, we opened presents. A book for Kara and a tea set for Rebekah from Nana Goese. A toy kitchen and toy kitchen utensils were a "joint" gift for them to share.

Happy Birthday, Kara and Rebekah! I tried to get Nico to call Rebekah to sing but he was being "moody".
