Kara never stops moving but now she is talking. Her first word a couple of days ago was "bird." Her second word was "dog." Our poor cats are also "dog" - oh well, close enough for a 1 year-old. She definitely does not like being told "no." It is guaranteed to throw her into a fit of tears. She's very determined, just like her sister. Kara just had a cold, if you can even call it that. More like a runny nose for 48 hours. She would sneeze and the buggers would go all over the floor.

What is that antique that Kara is holding? What is the purpose of such a long, coily string? Strange.
