We finally have most of our stuff put away - what a pain! The houses do not have closets so finding space for everything is rather difficult. Three trips to IKEA later we have enough storage room for everything. The girls enjoy our German neighbors, they have two daughters, ages 4 and 6. The oldest is in the picture with the girls. They cannot speak much English (nor can the girls speak German) but princess, baby, and tea party seem to be universal concepts easily understood by all.
We have met most of the neighbors, most of which are Italian. They are all very pleasant and love the girls. Even the garbage men (who come by three times a week) enjoy talking to the girls. A couple of times a week a guy comes by selling fresh bread - we enjoy this for lunch with a little olive oil and vinegar.
